Fourth Wall’s production of Gary Owen's 'Killology' was selected to perform at the National Student Drama Festival 2019, held in Leicester. Over 30 Durham students attended the festival, many were invited as Festival Company members by professional selectors watching Durham shows.
Ellie Hizzett wins Coach of the Year Award
As Durham University Boat Club head into their Easter pre-season, we are delighted to announce that Fresher Rowing Coach, Ellie Hizzett has won the Coach of the Year award for Educational Development. Ellie, who learned of her award in December, was pitted against nominees from all over the country before picking up the award at a dedicated awards ceremony in Henley, held last month.

Women’s Rugby BUCS Championship Final - Durham vs Exeter
Durham University Women’s Rugby 1st XV came head to head last week with reigning Champions Exeter University in a battle to claim the BUCS National Championship title. Both teams had gone undefeated all year winning their respective North and South Premier Leagues and it was only yesterday’s final, played at Twickenham Stadium, that would separate them.
