Community Brass Day with Russell Gray

Durham Festival of the Arts
Durham Festival of the Arts is running a Community Brass Day, open to all brass players of any age and ability.
Led by world renowned band conductor, Russell Gray, there will be a workshop 10am -12 p.m where the band will learn pieces, receiving guidance from Russell. Gain experience through provided repertoire, with a showcase to conclude performing the rehearsed material.

There will then be a 30 minute break for refreshments (some will be provided but feel free to also bring lunch) before an informal performance of the pieces at 12.30 p.m. Friends and family of those attending the workshop are welcome and encouraged to attend the performance.

The workshop will be held in St Oswald’s Institute, Church Street, Durham. This is the church hall across the road from St Oswald’s Church.
